ExperiGreen Sponsors Lydie's Loop: Steps Against Stillbirth

September 2024

For the third year in a row, ExperiGreen is proud to be a sponsor for Lydie’s Loop: Steps Against Stillbirth. This annual fundraising event in Columbus, Ohio is named after Lydie Wlliver, who was suddenly stillborn in 2014 at 34 weeks gestation. This event remembers and celebrates the lives of stillborn babies. More than 23,000 babies are stillborn each year in the United States, impacting families across the nation. Prevention methods and education on this topic are desperately needed.

This fundraiser also benefits Count the Kicks, an organization that educates expectant parents about the importance of tracking baby movements to help prevent stillbirth. Their goal is to make counting the babies kick in the third trimester a common practice and help educate providers and expecting parents.

June 2024

ExperiGreen is excited to announce our most recent sponsorship of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), a remarkable national non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor. Our ExperiGreen team understands the importance of a good night’s sleep. Just as a healthy, green lawn provides a safe and enjoyable space for families to entertain and relax, a bed is essential for a child’s well-being and development. This sponsorship helps to ensure that children in the Wayne County community have a comfortable place to lay their heads.

We are proud to partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace of Wayne County and support their vital work. Every child deserves a bed to call their own, and together, we can help make this a reality.

ExperiGreen Supports Military Families This Summer!

August 2023

ExperiGreen Supports Local Military Families Through The “GreenCare for Troops” Initiative

ExperiGreen has been honored to partner with Project EverGreen’s GreenCare For Troops since 2022. This program allows ExperiGreen to provide a full year of lawn care 100% free to military families.

We recently have been matched with the family of currently deployed Master Sergeant Rick Arreguin. He has been in the Ohio Army National Guard for 23 years and is currently deployed in the Middle East, supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. Rick and his wife Jodie have been married for 12 years and have two children, Miguel, who is ten, and Aliana, who is six. After speaking with Jodie, she said, “I work full time, and the yard is usually Rick’s domain, so between work, kids, activities, and the mental load of deployment, yardwork has been at the bottom of my to-do list. Providing this service to military families allows some actual downtime for the spouse at home and a lot less catch-up work for the soldier to return to!”

We are honored to be able to do our part to support the Arreguin family while Rick serves our country. Thank you for your sacrifice.

ExperiGreen Supports Military Families This Spring!

March 2022

ExperiGreen Supports Local Military Families Through “GreenCare for Troops Initiative”

ExperiGreen is proud to announce its participation as a volunteer for Project EverGreen’s GreenCare for Troops initiative. The program provides free lawn care and landscape services to military families with a loved one who is deployed. Helping maintain yards where kids and pets can safely play and adults can relax, is more than just for curb appeal. Thriving lawns, trees, and plants not only help the environment but also promote mental and physical wellness and can have a protective effect on the mental well-being of military families.

“We’re proud to support the GreenCare for Troops program and lend a hand to help our local military families who already carry so much on their shoulders, the last thing they should be worrying about is properly applying fertilizer and weed controls to their lawn.” said John Moehn of ExperiGreen. “This is just one small way that we can say thank you for their dedication to country and military service.”

GreenCare for Troops is a national volunteer network of lawn care and landscape professionals that donate their services and time to ease the burden on military families during a deployment. GreenCare for Troops marks its 16th year in 2022 and has provided an estimated $10 million in donated lawn and landscape services and peace of mind to thousands of military families in need across the country. ExperiGreen urges interested military families to register for participation in the GreenCare for Troops program online at www.ProjectEverGreen.org or call 888/611-2955 for additional information.
